Justice L. was born and raised on the mainland in Idaho. He has been surfing for three years after falling in love with it when he first came to Hawaii in 2018. After graduating high school in 2021, Justice moved to Hawaii to live with his older brother, who taught him to surf along the famous Waikiki beaches.
Justice now works with Stoke Drift to share that passion and love with his students, many of whom have described him as patient and encouraging. Justice’s surf students have described him as patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Justice’s favorite break to surf is Popular’s, and he enjoys taking out a 9’6 Takayama Model T longboard.
Beyond Stoke Drift, Justice isn’t in school at the moment; however, he would like to be a pilot or “anything I can do while traveling,” as he puts it. He also has a cat named Kaia, who he rescued from a colony near Diamond Head. He describes Kaia as “the cutest in the world” and says she is very good at hunting lizards.
