Dane is a high-energy surf instructor from Washington. Dane has extensive experience with boarding sports, having been surfing for over twenty years and snowboarding for thirty-five years. He has been with Stoke Drift since it opened; however, he has been instructing for over ten years.
Dane is one of the most encouraging surf instructors you could have during lessons and works hard to ensure that each of his students experiences the stoke of surfing. His cheers for his surf students are so loud that you might be able to hear them from the beach. Dane’s favorite part of teaching lessons is getting to share his surfing knowledge and the joy his students experience trying surfing for the first time. Dane’s students have described him as experienced, supportive, and positive. Dane’s favorite spot to surf is at Three’s, near our shop. He prefers longboarding over shortboarding, and his favorite board to ride is a 10’ 2” NSP.
Outside of the surf world, Dane owns a cleaning company called Please Come Clean LLC.
