Noam Artzi is a Canadian-born surf instructor. “I grew up on Lac Saint Louis in Montreal, where I developed a passion for the water and exploring. I was hooked on board riding sports from a very young age. I loved the freedom and adrenaline of skateboarding, wakeboarding, and snowboarding.”
When Noam was 10, he moved to Haʻikū, Maui. There, Noam developed his passion for surfing and windsurfing. Noam lived minutes from some of the world’s most iconic windsurfing spots, with consistent waves and wind almost daily. Noam competed in windsurfing competitions and became a professional Windsurfer, eventually landing a windsurfing sponsorship with Simmer Style. As an instructor, Noam’s favorite part of teaching surf lessons is sharing his love, passion, and joy for surfing with others.
His surf students have described Noam as friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Noam’s favorite spot to surf on Oʻahu is Kaisers. Noam prefers shortboarding over longboarding. His board of choice is a Pang.
Noam is a student at The University of Hawaii at Mānoa, studying Business. Outside of his expansive passion for the ocean and watersports, Noam is also passionate about art and music. Noam loves to play guitar and is inspired by musicians like Jimi Hendrick and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
